I may chat about my books, what I'm writing or reading, or just general thoughts. You may read posts about my cats or just my crazy life in general. Comments are welcome, if anyone wants to interact with me. Maybe we can share war stories, whether it's writing related or just about life in general.

A is for Adventure

I hope none of us ever get too old to enjoy a new adventure as we travel through life.  It would be a sad day if we can’t look forward to tomorrow, even when what we have on the calendar isn’t all that great.

Each new day is like a blank sheet of paper in a notebook.  It still has to be lived.  You never really know which way each day will go either and sometimes things surprise you and what you thought was going to be bad was actually a great time.

This goes for my part-time job as well as daily life.  Things are in a constant state of change.  Sometimes things are challenging, but a person has to rise to the challenge and make the best of each day.  And yes, I know we all struggle with this from time-to-time.

During the A to Z this year, I may bring you some of those adventures, along with facts about things and places most of you probably don’t know.  There could be recipes as well and maybe a cat post will even sneak in.  Hee-hee.  I’ll try to keep the rants at bay, although with this being an election year, I can’t promise that.  Some worthy tidbit may cross my mind.  Over the course of the month, I hope you’ll find reading my blog is an adventure and hopefully one that will leave you with new information, or maybe a laugh for the day.  If I can do, I will have succeeded.

Welcome to the A to Z challenge for 2016 everyone!  I look forward to meeting new friends and visiting some old ones.  I enjoy learning from each of you and will definitely visit everyone who visits me, so please leave a comment.

  4. I love your kitties. I'm 75 now and I am enjoying trips around the local mountains, the wildflowers, a Cherokee pow wow, and so on. We have to keep moving forward, even after big losses.

I hope it will. I'm writing posts on the fly these days. I hate rushing like that, but you do what you have to.

  7. I do a "one little word" project each year where you pick a word to guide you for the year and my word last year was adventure! There is always adventure to be had both large and small. Good luck with the a-z challenge.
