I may chat about my books, what I'm writing or reading, or just general thoughts. You may read posts about my cats or just my crazy life in general. Comments are welcome, if anyone wants to interact with me. Maybe we can share war stories, whether it's writing related or just about life in general.

Your help is needed

I’m posting this for a friend that needs to raise funds for her cat’s medical bills.  My friend B’s cats are her only family.  She’s the greatest cat lady I know personally, rescuing cats that would otherwise perish as kittens or on the streets as they get older.  She’s the only one I know that has the nerve to trap, care for and find homes for these abandoned kittens.

Now she has a little angel in desperate need of help.  This cat was rescued as a kitten from a brickyard.  He’s the sweetest thing with a great disposition.  No one would ever guess he came from feral beginnings.  Novi really needs your help as he battles lymphoma.  He’s had surgery but needs a lot of follow up care.  Whatever you can afford will be appreciated, even a dollar will help.  If you can afford to give $5.00, that’s great too.  All money received will go to Novi’s care.

If you’d like to read Bonnye and Novi’s story and donate to this worthy cause, please click the link below.  Bless you if you can find it in your heart to help.  I’m doing what I can to get the word out because it makes me terribly sad that my friend cries all the time wondering how she’ll ever help her furry friend.

If you can’t help, I understand that too, but please pass the word on to a friend.  That would be appreciated.  Furry friends are family and are there for us offering their support when we’re ill or sad.  We need to do the same for them if we can.

Thanks to all of you for reading this post. Here’s the link for further information.

  1. I made a very small donation. I wonder if there are any cat organizations that can help. I know there was a person who did corgi aid for corgis that needed healthcare, etc. She would help set up go fund mes and then to get the word out through Facebook page. Wonder if there is something similar for cats.

Koda had lymphoma. He didn't have surgery but we did the chemo for him since he was only six years old at the time and still had a pretty good quality of life. I don't regret the money spent (about a fourth of what your friend's bills could be) and it did give us four more years with him; something I was eternally grateful for.

    1. Betty,

Thanks for your donation and for telling me your story. I'll pass this on to my friend. There must be a page for cats. Thanks for letting me know all this. It's appreciated.

  2. I could only make a small donation. I sure hope they can make all they need to help this kitty. I'm a cat lover and rescued the four I have now. I'll share this, too.

    1. Chrys,

Thank you so much. Every donation is appreciated no matter how small. I hope she does well raising the money she needs to help this cat too. I'm a cat lover too, as you can tell. All of my cats are rescues.

I appreciate you sharing this link. Maybe someone else out there will find it in their heart to help.

      Thank you,
      Sunni
