I may chat about my books, what I'm writing or reading, or just general thoughts. You may read posts about my cats or just my crazy life in general. Comments are welcome, if anyone wants to interact with me. Maybe we can share war stories, whether it's writing related or just about life in general.

Always honoring my cats

My cats - the picture that's cut off is a collage

This is the cat wall in my office.  Every cat that comes to live with me gets a picture on this wall.  The pictures move with me from house to house and state to state.  I think they all deserve to be honored even if they’ve passed on to another plane.

It makes me happy looking at all their pictures.  I’m reminded of the crazy things each one has done and the unique personalities they all have.  There will always be cats in my life.  I simply can’t live my life without at least one to share it with.  All of them are special in their own way.

  1. That is so sweet! What a nice memorial for them. I have lots of pictures of Koda, but none framed and none on display. Maybe when we move and aren't renting and decide to put things back up on the walls. We do have a corgi magnet on the fridge. Looked so much like Koda that it took me about 6 months after we lost him to be able to put it on the fridge, before I just couldn't..........

    1. Betty,

I can understand the hurt from pet loss. I've lost a lot of these guys, but everyone's picture goes up on the wall regardless. Of course, I try to put them up early on and then they are there once they leave us. I've done this since the 1970's and probably will continue to do it as long as I'm here. If we move, the pics get packed with care and moved to the next house. The cats are my family and I remember them with fondness and love. Even though cats have the reputation of being aloof, they were loyal and always there for me. They'll always have a place in my heart.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I do hope you'll put up pics of your Corgi for I'm sure he gave you some great and beautiful moments.

    1. Liz,

The cats are my kids. I'll probably keep adding to this until the end of my life.

      Thanks for reading.

  3. That is wonderful. I have a lot of photos of my cats around too- more than of people. :)

    1. pilch,

The cats are my family, although I do have six siblings. I have more pics of my cats than my brothers and sisters.

Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment.
